Sun care
Designed by our dermatologist, our sun care products are formulated with exclusively natural ingredients that fight against skin aging induced by the sun. We only use mineral filters that are kind to the skin and the oceans.
Frequently asked questions:
Does the sun have beneficial effects for the skin ?
The sun is beneficial for the synthesis of melatonin and serotonin and the regulation of immunity. It is also essential for the synthesis of vitamin D, but for this 20 minutes of daily sun exposure of the hands, face, legs or forearms is enough. And above all, it is outdoor physical activities that are good for health.
Should we always wear sunscreen ?
The sun is responsible for heliodermia which induces brown spots and dilated vessels, but also sagging skin. I therefore recommend applying strict sun protection from a young age, summer and winter. I developed the Sunscreen spf50+ as a bb cream for all outdoor activities as well as the Sun milk SPF30 suitable for lower UV indices in the city in winter.
How to get an even, long-lasting tan ?
The ideal is to gently prepare the skin through gradual exposure. Here are some tips from our dermatologist:
Prefer early morning or evening exhibitions,
Gradually increase the duration and then cover yourself,
Put a SPF50+ sunscreen on the exposed areas.
To "sunbathe" properly, you must start exposure with perfectly hydrated skin, maintained by regular peels and scrubs, because a thick horny layer acts as a screen against UV rays.
To prolong your tan, continue to exfoliate and moisturize your body after exposure.
Are your sunscreens non-comedogenic ?
Our sun care are non-comedogenic. They are formulated with vegetable oils, natural active ingredients and mineral filters only, therefore in great affinity with the skin.
Are sun milk and SPF50+ sun cream suitable for black skin ?
In the case of high phototypes, SPF50+ sun cream, being very rich in mineral filters, can leave a white reflection.
THE sun milk SPF30 will be more suitable for this phototype for the face and body. For a smooth and uniform application, we recommend placing a small amount of SPF30 sun milk in the palm of your hand and warming it before application. The milk will penetrate more quickly without leaving any traces while maintaining optimal protection.
I have some pigment spots on my face, which sun protection should I choose ?
Small spots, as well as visible vessels, are synonymous with heliodermia (sun-induced skin aging).
Our dermatologist recommends strict sun protection for the face but also the neck, décolleté and the back of the hands which are the most exposed areas.
Apply the sunscreen spf50+ and renew every 2 hours when you are outside (sun or not).
Favor shade and wear a hat or cap whenever possible.
