To start the day
We head to Kafé Botanika, located along the Urumea River. The café-restaurant offers world cuisine inspired by travel. They cook with local produce from an agro-ecological vegetable garden, "Karabeleko," located in Hernani, a few kilometers from the city.

For a sea trip
We board a boat to Santa Clara Island with a picnic in our bags (return by 8 p.m. max.). We lay our towels down in a small cove and admire the panoramic view of La Concha Bay.

Let's climb Mount Igueldo! Located at the end of La Concha Bay, Monte Igueldo is a must-see in Donostia. The funicular is the most popular way to get there. Travel back in time in its wooden carriages, just as casino and ballroom patrons did decades ago. For children, you'll find a playground at the top (no minimum age) that retains the old-fashioned charm of its old attractions: ghost train, rides, small boats, and bumper cars.
