What is the patented active ingredient COMPLEX G5® made of?
Our patented active ingredient is composed of a complementary combination of 5 sprouted seeds: chia, flax, oats, wheat, green soybeans, buckwheat, and amaranth. Each seed provides a variety of essential acids and antioxidants, necessary for the skin to thrive. Sprouting, a symbol of life, helps increase the level of vitamins, mainly B vitamins, and amino acids, particularly prolamins, which enable the production of collagen.
2 years of research
Dr. Sylvie Peres, the dermatologist behind the Alaena range, studied how cells function and researched the ingredients needed to keep skin healthy and radiant. Plant biodiversity is full of wonderful ingredients that need to be extracted and concentrated using sustainable production processes. We've developed a patented active ingredient based on sprouted seeds to provide the skin with vitamins and amino acids. Just like in food, grains and legumes help meet protein needs. Sprouting releases these micronutrients.
What does COMPLEX G5® actually provide to the skin?
In vitro tests have proven an anti-aging effect on the skin, with an acceleration of cell renewal and an increase in collagen production.

A consumer protocol was carried out to evaluate the effectiveness of the patented active ingredient COMPLEX G5® on criteria of hydration, complexion radiance and smoothing of features.
