What products do you always take with you?
I always have in my travel toiletry bag the Mango & Avocado Soap, the Sensitive Skin Moisturizer, the Anti-Blemish Solutions and of course the sun care products in summer.
How do you take care of your skin in summer?
I have fair skin with freckles so I am very careful about sun protection. On my face I apply the Cream spf50+. I put it on in a very thick layer when I surf and stay in the water for a long time (it is waterproof) and in a slightly thinner layer at the beach for a transparent finish. I also always wear a hat and stay under the parasol. For my body, I apply the Sun Milk spf30 .
In the evening, I double cleanse with the Cleansing Oil and the Mango & Avocado Soap to remove sunscreens. I then apply either the Sensitive Skin Moisturizer to nourish my skin or the Anti-Blemish Solution to prevent acne from breaking out when I return to school. I alternate every other evening.
For my body, after my shower, I love massaging myself with the nourishing rose petal oil. It moisturizes, gives a tanned complexion, and gently scents it for summer outings. I also apply a few drops to my hair when it's wet.
Where will you be staying this summer?
In Mexico, with family. My older sister and her children live in Tahiti, so we meet halfway. The month of August is often synonymous with long days of surfing as a family. We like to get together in remote places; it allows us to truly escape into nature. I turn off my phone and try to enjoy every moment.
Your latest crush?
I discovered "Le goût de M," the podcast from M, the magazine from Le Monde. Géraldine Sarratia meets a personality from the worlds of culture, fashion, design, or cuisine, and asks them to tell their personal story of taste.
I like the idea of questioning the construction of each person's taste, in continuity or in rupture with their original environment, how it has evolved over the course of their life, through their encounters.
In a society where we spend hours on Instagram, where we are overwhelmed by images pushed at us, I question the standardization of beauty. I find it interesting to take a step back and define one's own taste, as a singularity of one's personal history, of one's heritage.
