Alaena's Feathers: Louise Michel, "Kanak Legends and Songs of Gestures"
The Kanak is unaware of his own existence and cannot grasp it, because he does not free his body from nature; he knows only one life, the life of all nature with its trees and vegetation, the earth itself and its rocks, and the water of the stream and the lakes, these "child-seas", the birds and all the animals, the clouds, the rain and the stars, the Milky Way, this "river of the sky".
Louise Michel actively participated in the events of the Paris Commune. Captured in May, she was deported to New Caledonia. Exiled in a wild land, she retained her passion for teaching and her concern for respect for others, regardless of who they were.
Unlike some Communards who joined in their repression, she defended them during their revolt of 1878. She was also interested in botany but above all in Kanak customs, their language, their customs, learned their legends and their songs and translated several of their founding myths into a poetic language before dedicating two works to them which today represent precious ethnographic documents.

Beautiful skin recipe: Homemade scrub
-
½ yogurt
-
½ lemon juice
-
1 tablespoon of vegetable oil (olive, sunflower, sweet almond, avocado, wheat germ, etc.)
-
1 tablespoon of coffee grounds
In a bowl, mix half a yogurt, the juice of half a lemon, a tablespoon of vegetable oil of your choice and a tablespoon of coffee grounds.
Apply the mixture to the body and massage gently using small circular motions.
Finally, rinse with lukewarm water.
Benefits of lemon and yogurt for skin:
In this recipe, citric acid (lemon) and lactic acid (yogurt) complement the action of coffee beans to eliminate dead skin. This creates a dual effect of peeling and mechanical exfoliation.
