By staying as close as possible to the living, Alaena works on the extraction of biomolecules. These molecules (amino acids, peptides, phospholipids, enzymatic cofactors) maintain the functioning of epidermal cells. They also restore the dermo-epidermal barrier, moisturize, replenish lipids, and restore radiance to the skin and hair, which need their daily ration of nutrients to ensure the proper functioning of their cells.
Let's recall the hair life cycle: The hair begins in the follicle before growing in successive cycles and falling out. Thus, the phases are anagen (growth) 2 to 5 years, catagen (rest) 2 to 6 months and telogen (falling out). The lifespan of a hair is 2 to 7 years on average.
Dr. Sylvie Peres: As with the skin, the idea in creating the Bathroom Collection was to provide the nutrients necessary for hair growth so that it is strong and shiny.
80% of the hair's mass is due to the presence of proteins (amino acid polymers), the main one being keratin, which is composed of 18 amino acids. Proteins contain a high level of sulfur-containing amino acids, mainly cysteine, which form disulfide bonds between the molecules, giving the whole its rigidity.
We therefore find in our patented active ingredient Complex G5 , our cereal/legume association which will provide sources of proteins essential to the good health of hair, such as keratin which is a family of fibrous proteins. Hair is composed of 95% keratin, which allows the hair to be protected against UV rays, sea water and other external factors which attack it on a daily basis.
In the Body & Hair Wash Gel , our patented protein-rich active ingredient will repair keratin to moisturize all hair types. It is combined with gentle surfactants that respect the hair's pH to suit sensitive and/or irritated scalps. And complemented by burdock and radish root ferment, rosemary and chamomile which regulate seborrhea and cleanse the scalp, for unbalanced scalps.
For the Body Milk, the G5 Complex, rich in amaranth and buckwheat, will stimulate cell regeneration.
For the after-shampoo treatment, the patented active ingredient helps restore the hair shaft in depth so that the hair regains shine and softness.
Oat: By closing the cuticles, it helps reduce frizz and makes hair shiny and soft. It is also recommended for fine hair because it adds volume. It is also excellent for irritated scalps, helping to soothe irritation, itching, and dandruff.
Sprouted wheat: Contains 30% protein, particularly cystine, B vitamins, and zinc. It also contains vitamin E, which has antioxidant properties that limit the accelerated aging of scalp cells and help prevent the appearance of dandruff.
Soy : It promotes hair growth, particularly thanks to the lysine it contains.
Flax and chia: Provide lignans that stimulate hair growth.

Developed by dermatologist Dr. Sylvie Peres, the Bathroom Collection complements the Alaena ritual for caring for the body and hair. This new line offers a rich sensory experience thanks to our signature fragrance. The formulation charter remains as stringent as ever, with the Ecocert Cosmos Organic label, and production is carried out in the southwest of France. The bottles are made from bioplastic derived from sugar cane.
