Discover the summer ritual based on high-quality natural active ingredients recommended by Dr. Sylvie Peres
1- Exfoliate
To "sunbathe" properly, you must begin your exposure with perfectly hydrated skin, maintained by regular peels and scrubs , because a thick stratum corneum protects against UV rays. Properly exfoliated and hydrated, the skin will sunbathe evenly and will therefore be more luminous. Discover the benefits of peeling in this article |

2 - Hydrate

The priority will therefore be to drink enough and hydrate your skin as much as possible with a combination of oils and waxes, as in our Summer Garden Radiance Balm . It will limit insensible water loss, restore the functionality of the skin by constituting the hydrolipidic film. |
3 - Protect
I recommend strict protection with SPF 50+ on the face and décolleté where the skin is thin. I often say that sunscreen is the best anti-aging product. Compare your facial skin and chest skin (if you don't expose it). You'll see that it's much smoother and free of spots.
In addition to the anti-UV filters of an SPF50 sunscreen, it will therefore be necessary to provide anti-radicals (substances capturing free radicals), anti-inflammatory and soothing substances and every evening a moisturizer to reform the stratum corneum, the protective film naturally present on the surface of the epidermis damaged by these attacks.

4 - Adopt a diet rich in beta-carotenes, vitamins and antioxidants
Consume foods rich in vitamin A at each meal to obtain a slightly more tanned complexion: cod liver oil, micro-algae (spirulina and chlorella), colorful fruits and vegetables to eat raw (lettuce, spinach, kale, carrots, squash, tomatoes, eggplant, beetroot, blueberry, watermelon, papaya, guava and melon).
How to get a nice even tan?
If you're not often at the beach and want to achieve a beautiful skin tone, apply Sunscreen Lotion. But to get a beautiful tan, avoid burning and overexposure at all costs. Start with short exposures, especially if your skin is fair. The slower you tan, the longer it will last, and the less dry your skin will be when you return.
Reminder: Why are UV rays dangerous for the skin?
UV rays break down connective tissue, stimulate cell proliferation, and trigger the synthesis of free radicals. Time and genetics aren't the only factors responsible for skin aging. Quite the opposite, in fact. So pay close attention to the skin on your face and décolleté, which is more fragile and more susceptible to the signs of aging.
